    Description

    This is a series of Peruvian first minted coin collection, Uncertified, ungraded,  all of them in brass.
    Minted in 1965 commemorating the 400 anniversary of the creation of Lima's mint house, ordered by then, Spanish King Felipe II.
    This coins were minted as replicas to those made in 1565, they were originally made in silver.
    These coins were minted in 1 sol, 1/2 sol, 25 centavos, 10 centavos and 5 centavos denomination;

    50 cent    21mm        3.2g
    25 cent    18mm        2.2g
    5 cent      15mm        1.5g
    In the Anverse of the coins you will see Peru's coat of arms, on the Reverse, you will see two Hercules towers, each one with a crown and surrounded by water, representing the Spanish royalty extending further than the straight of Gibraltar and the viceroyalty stablished in the Americas.
    This is a nice collection of the series, hard to find as a group, in almost uncirculated condition, great addition to your coin collection!
